One of my goals for 2013 is to be more creative. That means that I will try to come up with fun things to make or to experience. Item #1 was to bake cookies from scratch. Those of you that know me well know that I am a “break and bake” kind of girl. In fact…my 4 year old daughter would never know what baking was if she hadn’t made cookies with my sister a few times. Today was the day…Emma and I baked chocolate chip cookies from scratch…and we had a blast! So much so…I’m sort of contemplating the purchase of one of those fancy Kitchen Aid Mixers. I’ll keep you posted on that. Emma was such a great helper pouring all of the ingredients into the mixing bowl. She must have really been inspired…because she follow up our baking by making several Play doh pizzas in her play doh kitchen.
Now that we have our awesome chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, we have settled in with tall glasses of cold milk to enjoy our cookies while watching the live link of Passion 2013.
